VCU 2018 Commencement
Virginia Commonwealth University awarded more than 5,000 degrees on Saturday May 12, 2018 in Richmond, Virginia.
Actor, philanthropist, and fellow VCU athlete Boris Kodjoe was the commencement speaker. Kodjoe spoke about his path from Germany to VCU and to Hollywood. Kodjoe was a 1996 VCU School of Business graduate. Kodjoe implored to the Class of 2018, that they must give their selves permission to fail in order to experience the privilege of success.
