Louise Burke Trail
Louise Burke was an environmental activist who along with others stopped a proposed RMA parkway along the south banks of the James River. Burke's favorite location was Pony Pasture. Today there are several hiking and biking trails in Pony Pasture and The Wetlands which both are a part of the James River Park System.
