Arrival of the 2013 Official White House Christmas Tree

First Lady Michelle Obama was presented the Official White House Christmas Tree on Friday, November 29, 2013, by the Botek family. The 2013 Christmas Tree is an 18.5-foot Douglas Fir, was grown by Chris Botek from Lehighton, PA., and will be on display in the Blue Room.
